Howdy folks. New member - come to the bike surgery people for help.

Picked up an F4i earlier this summer. Been working on it but it has strange problems.
At first it had the symptoms of a FPR. I replaced that. PO had left the little rubber grommet in the hole? lol
Then it would run for like... 30 seconds or so. Very rich. I turned the PowerCommander all the way down to lean and it would start and idle for a couple minutes, then bog and die. Always very rich. Now it won't start at all.

Any ideas welcome! I get a temp sensor light - but I can't imagine that would keep it from running. My gauge cluster says 168 degrees when I start? Strange. There are three wires hanging out of the gauge cluster harness. Green red and I think white. I can't find them in the schematic.

Regulator/Rectifier doesn't get warm. Battery is new. Plugs (were) new. Cleaned the air filter. This is actually the second engine... the one that came with the buck was at 10lbs compression???? This one is good.

Ideas? I'm desperate to ride before snow!!!!
