A hello and a couple questions from a noob..
My history if you want it: Recently bought fifth..bike..99 CBR900RR. Was doing basic wheelies for couple years, 1st gear one season, 2nd the next, then totaled my R6 mid last season After a couple tickets, close calls, and totaling my last baby, figured it's time to do the more fun stuff, and keep the points off my license..So I got a less expensive bike with a little more cosmetic damage. But now I can afford more parts, already done-new rear and front wheel bearings, new steering stem bearings, pro taper fatty bars, fresh fork seals, SF Headlight, ect.
Questions:
Sprocket size? I want to go big, but still ride street, I mean, it's gonna be my only bike this season..no need to go more than 70ish, even on the highway, but I don't wanna feel like my motor's about to blow bouncing off rev limiter..was thinking mid 50's, too much?
Should I really go for the full cage, or just the front motor mount to rear motor mount bars? Been hearing things about high siding if I get too low with a full cage..
Any commonly forgotten parts I should be putting on for added protection to frame/motor (did the common spray can dark colors, no point in a nice paint job for how much I anticipate dropping it, so screw the small amount of plastics I have on it) or that help with the slow stand ups because that's where I plan on starting..
Any response would be a huge help and I appreciate it. Just noticed how long this is, so anyone who reads it all, my bad, I may ramble a lot..

Thanks man, I won't high side with a full cage though? My tires always wore evenly, no chicken strips on any of them, and that habit would be hard to break..

Most professional cage compaines design their cages to protect the bike not do more damage by flipping and such. You should be alright with a company like Impactek, ATown, Sick, or the likes. Not sure who exactly makes a cage for that bike. FI is not bad either, but I'd personally stay away from Tiger Shark or 905
