Noob...need tire setup help...psi? Type? Etc...
YES I'M NEW. BOUGHT MY FIRST BIKE LAST JUNE 1ST AND WENT DOWN OCTOBER 12TH. WHEELCHAIR TO CRUTCHES TO WALKING IN A LITTLE OVER 8 WEEKS. NOW THAT I'M 85% HEALED, I AM TRYING TO GET BACK ON MY BIKE. I'M IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING THE PARTS TO REPLACE THE STUFF THAT HAS BEEN DAMAGED. MY BACK TIRE IS DOWN TO THE WIRE FULL CIRCLE. BEFORE I START DOING ANYTHING TO THIS BIKE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE BEST TIRES FOR ME. CAN ANYONE PLS HELP. ITS MY FIRST BIKE. '04 HONDA CBR1K. IT HAS THE STOCK BATTLEAX SH*T STAINS AND I WANT GOOD TIRES. FRIENDS ALL SAY 211GP'S THIS N THAT AND BLAH BLAH BLAH. I RIDE AROUND TOWN TO AND FROM WORK SOMETIMES AND TAKE IT OUT MOSTLY ON THE WEEKENDS FOR RIDES AND WHAT NOT. I'M LEARNIN HOW TO STUNT SLOWLY BUT SURELY AS I DIDN'T KNOW THE BALANCE POINT ON CBR'S ARE SO HIGH. ANYWHO, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE BEST FRONT, REAR AND/OR SET OF TIRES I SHOULD BUY. I GO TO THE CANYONS EVERY SUNDAY AT OSBORNE CANYONS (WHERE I WENT DOWN) IN THE CITY OF SUNLAND. WHEN I RIDE I LIKE TO HIT A COOL LIL' STUNT SPOT WITH SOME FRIENDS AND TRY TO PRACTICE ALOT. SOOOOO, FROM RUMOR IVE HEARD THE 211GP'S ARE THE SICKEST IF I RIDE THE CANYONS AND THE STREET ALOT, BUTTT...ARE THEY GOOD FOR STUNTIN ALSO OR ARE THEY SO GRIPPY AND TRACK ORIENTED THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO PULL IT UP AND PRACTICE ALOT???? THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND I KNOW THEY DONT RELATIVELY LAST LONG BUT I DONT MIND PAYING FOR THEM IF THEY ARE THE SICKEST...SOOO...IF THEY ARE THE BEST FOR MY RIDING STYLE THEN I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU GUYS LETTING ME KNOW. IF THEY AREN'T, WELL OR COURSE, PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK ON YOUR SUGGESTION(S)....THANKS...DONT FLAME ME TOO MUCH! LOL
