And also have no experience/skill at mechanics and workin on bikes.
Because of those two, I'll prolly be asking some dumb *** questions...

Picked up a '93 CBR 600 to practice working on/play with.
Here are some pics.

Yes, those are mirrors on the crash cage.
They're really easy to take off/on.
And yes, the bikes a hunk of junk.
But its still fun to ride!

Any wisdom you'd wish to share would be awesome.
