New trouble maker in AZ
Hi, everyone I guess I would be a noob in this ****.. I registered on this forum a while back now, but never got around to actually introduce my self. My name is Alex and I live in Arizona the "hottest state" been riding for a while really been into knee draggin stuff, canyons/twisties and such.. recently got interested in stuntin, so i picked up an 02 F4I. After reading a little about what bunch of you have said about this bike I think I started off the right way.
Since the bike is somewhat in good condition, its obviously all stock, never been stunted before. Meaning I have to get it all set up, would be nice if you guys could help out a little here and recommend few things I should start off with first in order of priority, like what brand and stuff.. thanks Fellas
PS Any Folks here from AZ Mesa/Gilbert area, maybe can get together and show me few things around? I'll buy lunch lol

cage! sick innovations
after market clip ons or DB bars. go with clip ons
Hand brake! ho hey set up with magura or brembo master
sub cage! OMRsubcages.com
GPR or scotts dampner if you want to start doing stoppies
maybe get a lil bigger sprocket in the rear. not to big though to start out. too twitchy.
dent your tank if you wanna do tank tricks and get a stomp pad, bedliner in a can, or anything else for some grip
maybe a round bar out back unless you wanna just learn to scrape the tail. in which case you prob wont have a tail after one day at the lot.
crank that idle up and cover that rear brake!!!
that should get you started.

Re: New trouble maker in AZ
Ive seen a few, when my friend bought a bike, the guy who sold it to him was from "Hot Souce" click, but yeah I really want to find some locals to practice with, **** I dont even have a spot yet.. the church next to my house got a decent paking lot, seems to be pretty roomy. I feel kinda wrong though to do it there, where people pray..
Have a question for you guys, what Am I looking to spend on a HB set up? Is brembo and ho hey MC are much better than stock or OEM is good enough for $60? thanks

churchs are good... sometimes. Go ride there for a couple nights for a few hours at a time and if you dont get kicked out post back up and plenty of people with come out and ride with you(I wont cause your like an hour from me). As for the HB wait till you got slow footbrake wheelies down, but save up like 300 for a nice setup or 150 for a decent setup.

I think Im good now with set up, everything came with that white f4i, I figured that would be a better thing to do, sell the mint one and just buy a stunt ready shizzle, comes out to be cheaper and doesnt take any of my time.. I just need to find a spot n good fellas to help me get through..
