New from Iceland

Hi guys.. Great webside you´ve got here...
I´m old in the road racing sport, but now i like to try out in stunting.. less speed more fun.

I ´ve got over 200hp gix 1000, also have Aprilia rsvr 1000 factory.
But my tension is all on the one i bought for this trial.. i bought old gsxr 1100 oil cooled one, i belive stunters all over the world used these bikes for stunting sometime in the middle of last century.

Anyhow, i´m new at this, and want to make something out of this old gix..
Anyone have ideas where i can get 12 o clock bar and crash cage for this dinasour..

L8er guys..

hello newbee ,i would sell the 11hundo and find a nice fuel injected 600 if you really want to stunt.....

Re: New from Iceland

Yes, i know it´s not the best choice.. but, i kinda grew up on these things.. rode 1100 gix for about 10 years.. i got it cheap!! and i know how to fix and maintain it 100%.. if i get the hang of it and get serious about this new idea of mine.. i will most definite get better bike for the project..

Re: New from Iceland

I will soon as i get the hang of this stunt idea.. i am complete rookie in the stunt world... i´ve been road racing and riding for pleasure for 18 years total..
I have come to the point in riding, that when i go out riding, i find it´s kinda boring to do the same thing over and over again.. but since i´ve never tried this stunt idea before.. i´ve desided to try... mabie it´s for me, mabie not... still, i will post clips!!

Re: New from Iceland

We are two for now... but here in Iceland, this sport has never been done. propable because bikes are VERY expensive here.
New gsxr 1000 costs around 28000 usd.
I expect more guys to join next summer though.

I got my 1000 gsxr and 1000Rsvr, but i can not justify using them... for now But IF i get addictive.. Who knows?

Only thing now: Where can i get 12 o clock bar and crash cage?

aaron coltan spent a whole week over there stunting, so it has been done. i just don't think anyone over there does it.

go to WWW.CYCLESPACE.COM , there is video of him over there rideing on the battle ship and around the hot springs/gysers(SP?) and also doing a show for the public.(cyclespace TV section)
