Need Help Wheeling a 1999 Cbr 600 F4

Hey guys hows it going. I have a 1999 cbr 600 f4 with a yoshimura rs-3 Racecore exhaust, and i can crack the throttle in first gear and bring the front wheel about 1-1.5 feet off the ground. But when i try and shift into 2nd the bike just dosent got enough to keep her going. now ive been reading some threads saying to try and start in 2nd while slipping the clutch is this right???. ive Never tried slipping the clutch so if anyone can help me by giving me a few pointers that would be great. Im not trying to do anything stupid i just wanna be able to wheelie in 2nd or 3rd gear averaging about 100 kph. if you guys could help me that would be great thanks.

Get a -2 front sprocket 14t, it will make 2nd and 3rd alot easier to pop up.

Thanks Guys i watched the video last night while i was posting the thread. the movie was great i think i should be a lil better off, ima order a new sprocket as soon as i get to work but as for suppension hardness is it easier to find my balance point with softer shocks in the back harder in the front??? or dose it make a diffrence. now my other question is finding my balance point. personally im 6"2 180 Pounds and from what i saw in the video its damn near virtical... and what should my balance point feel like should i be able to let off the throttle a little bit and kinda be able to coast a bit??? but thanks for ur guyases help im go try and slip the clutch a bit see where I end up(hopedfully not the hospital lol) thanks guys

dont slip the clutch, dump it quickly. even with a -2 front it still takes alot gas to pop it.

Re: Need Help Wheeling a 1999 Cbr 600 F4

Don't worry about shifting gears.. Learn to ride out either 1st or 2nd for now..
Then youll eventually be able to speed up/slow down in the same gear.

Then shifting will be easy, but you probably won't do that very often.
