New guy, clemson south carolina
Hey everyone. I'm a sophomore at clemson, just got a sv650. Bored as **** down here so I mess around on my bike quite a bit. I've had it since February and started clutching it up about a month ago. I'm working on my braking right now. I know sv650s have oil issues, so I keep my wheelies under 6 seconds.
I'm a little worried about my clutch though....There aren't alot of open parking spaces, and I like to avoid southern cops (insert banjo playing deliverance theme here) so I got a little isolated space behind this abandoned shop. It only has space for short wheelies, so I end up doing alot of wheelies in a short amount of time.
I've heard that you're more likely to break the clutch basket or steering head bearings but is that taking into consideration slamming a clutch 90+ times within 2 hours in a tiny *** space?
I'm also pretty good about throttling before landing, but I'm sure I'll start slamming **** when I get close to the BP.
+ quick cop story
used to **** around in clemson parking lot. one day two cops roll in to have a meeting or whatever, so I ask if its cool to mess around in there. They say its cool so I proceed to just do some rear wheel skids and try to get my knee down. They freak out and decide to stop me mid lean by driving up and blaring their horn, making me yank on the handle bars and brake and slam my nuts into the gas tank. They say that leaning off the bike and skids "looks dangerous" and make me leave. I'm so glad to have them watching my back.
thanks, sorry for the long post.
