Today would have been my sister's 27th birthday is is not only my first time celebrating it without her, it is my first holiday season without her. AND.... I had an emergency root canal this morning after working a 13 hour shift... and I'm in tears. Today BLOWS

wow. your day sucked. hope you're coping with grief ok. it's a tough emotion, very personal and powerful. A tribute seems to help with the pain of losing someone precious to me, doing something in their memory is comforting.
The dead are at peace, I'm sure of it. The living are the ones who suffer losses, everything we can perceive with our senses is temporary.
Yesterday went pretty well for me. My face is ok. skinned my knee. very glad my fucked up disk didn't move in further on my spinal cord.
overall falling down twice was a win. now I know I can take a shot to the face without falling out from a severed spinal cord. this is useful information I did not have before.
