Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You mentioned you had problems starting your truck . I suggested leaving your truck running as a solution to fuel gel-ing , isn't a good idea .
I do believe IHC has made a program in some single box ECM T444e's that will automatically bump the idle , if it senses the truck is at idle for more than 5 minutes . But you still do excessive wear to any engine if you leave a truck running at high idle .
I think the single box T444e's started around model year 2000 .

At my work , many trucks , all different engines , gas and diesel , threw up massive engine codes , and wouldn't run correctly on the road , during the cold spell .
All the 444e's and IHC VT365's ran pretty good though . I only had one write up on a T444e , and the complaint was a little bit of excessive black smoke .

i just finished up putting my girls tranny back in, suprisingly it went it pretty easy. it took me 3 days working on it about 4 hours a day to get it out, it fought me with everything, i was dreading putting it back in. with my friend helping me, we knocked it out in about 4 hours.

- The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
- The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
- THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
- All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

My roomate is a dispatcher for a trucking company. He said Friday was a nightmare because a ton of trucks were down. Talking to a plow guy he said a lot of companies weren't able to plow because a lot of the diesel plow trucks wouldn't start.

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only thing i could think of was that the engine was having a little trouble burning the super cold fuel , when put under a load , and not getting a full combustion and dumping out the unburnt . It was only really coming off of 1st gear where the most load on the engine is , from a stop .
Once the truck was rolling , it wasn't a problem .
This happened on Thursday night , when it was the coldest here . He didn't have a problem on friday . It was about 10 warmer friday , about 0 degrees .

I also i believe , in newer model 444e's , at some time , there was an upgrade in the style of injectors . And for some reason , the do not like to fire good under extreme cold conditions . Some times they will not even fire a good fuel shot .
You usually don't see this problem with the 90's 444e's . I mean they all might need a little ether shot to get going at first in super cold weather , but newer 444e's don't like to keep running , after a good ether spray .

Do like russians do and just use fire on a stick to unfreeze your engine

Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the injectors , i think they changed something internally , or with the nozzle tip .
I'm sure you already know that a 444e injector needs high oil pressure to fire off . Something happens inside that injector , at the time of firing , on newer 444e injectors .
At least thats what i think though
