You're going more than 380 though and I'm sure you're not running your tank completely dry. What size are your tires, what size are the stockers, and how many gallons does it take to go 380 (indicated) miles?

How bad did the F250 sag with 4000 lbs in the back? You're braver than I. I don't even want to put 2000 in my Avalance.

Re: OMR SUBCAGE [subframe cage]

dont worry becky.. it isnt 6... i remember doing all the stuff they talked about but not at 6.. but remember new times.. every generation does stuff a bit earlier.. especially sex, so be prepared for him to be having that very soon.. just encourage him to strap up and make sure you buy them for him or else he'll steal them(yes they are expensive) or not use them

and look out for his firebug period... he'll steal lighters and light everything on fire...
also make sure he never gets caught bringing a BB gun to school

Monday I went and picked up 2 tons of pavers to put a patio in my backyard - can anyone else do that with their vehicle?
Mine can. PS It's a 32 gallon tank.

You have to be getting 20 mpg or so to be cheaper than a half ton.

Stock is like 32.6 or 32.7"

1000#'s doesn't even squat my truck, but you know it's there when you drive. 2 bikes isn't that bad.

I was watching the parade. Everyone (players) was sitting on the rail of a pickup with their families. Then Chelios came through, tailgate down, sitting on it, holding a beer in his hand up in the air.

There's a huge difference between 1000 and 4000. Two bikes didn't really do much to my F150 either. Would you put 4000 lbs in the bed of your truck?

If I had airbags I would. I'd put 3,000 without thinking about it twice.

Oh don't get me wrong that **** was slammed, like 5 inch drop lol, but it drove fine and still got decent mileage (65 mile trip) ....

Re: OMR SUBCAGE [subframe cage]

Just found this about my air bags. I guess they work both ways we were talking about.

The Air Lift 1000 products function much different from LoadLifter 5000 and Ride Control kits. When charged with air the bag will grow in all directions much like blowing up a balloon. Controlling the growth requires a coil spring to hold it into shape and funnel its spring energy into its length. The bag's spring rate comes from compressing its length and also from the bag being wedged in between the coils of the spring. Over inflating the bag can cause the wedging to become too severe and therefore causing the material to thin, which in turn, causes a decrease in spring rate and a premature failure.
