in all honesty though i would like nothin more than to have a brand new minty bike all gleamin and go to comps every weekend and ride every day......it just wont happen for me!! i've been at this strong for a long time now and have dumped more than my fair share of time and money into this sport....
when you have babies it changes everything....before i was scrapin by to get to comps and for parts...i wouldn't eat for a day for gas money. it's 10 times worse now. i have lots of people that help me out, lots of sponsors, and i appreciate them all, but unless they give me a nice bike, i probably will never have one. so for the hometown heros like myself and many others this dream of perfect bikes, a bus, and new gear is far fetched. that shouldn't mean that we can't get in a magazine or compete.
