Re: tl1000
I rode my buddies tl1000R and it was the baddest bike I have ever ridden. It wasnt very quick (in comparison to my R6) but it has a **** LOAD OF TORQUE. Anyone could wheelie these biikes. The main reason no one stunts them, im my opinion, is that they are pretty damn heavy and are very very easy to loop. SUzuki stopped making them becasue they had the highest mortality rate out of any :YEAH motorcycle. They loop way to easy.
As for the sound, throw an m4 or yosh cans on that thing and it will sound badder than any bike you have ever heard. It sound like a harly on steroids. Just my 2 cents.
Let the blood reign :YEAH

Re: tl1000
Wow. Imaine that. I've been eye-balling this bike i see on base. Beatuifull bike. It never moves, so maybe I'll make this guy an offer. Yellow Tl1000R, and I know what you mean by being easy to loop. My front end on my 650 comes up way to quick most of the time, shoots right up to BP.
Speaking of which, does anyone know of anyone having modified there oil pickup on an 650?

I rock a TL1000R, I had Racing 905 Make me a cage, It works pretty good, But u really dont need them, The pipes take most of the rash, as far as 12's goes, I had one but took it off and now I just use the pipes as my scrape bar, hahahahahaha. however Racing 905 makes a 12 for the TL's too.... Give props for everyone that stunts a TL.... Peace

Re: tl1000
I used to have TL1000S. It's easy to wheelie(fast), but the throttle is really sensitive, so it's hard to keep the pace low. I don't think it's easy to loop, because it has massive engine braking. Of course if you are not used to it, and it has been geared, it can be really fast wheelie... I had to get rid of it, because S model can brake frames when abused. Also blew engine, too many wheelies I guess. When doing long BP wheelies it started to sound rough and I had to let it down. Kinda slowed the progress.
You can keep the oil level high, but it starts to push oil to the airbox.
Stock rear shock is piece of ****. Get one with ohlins or penske.

I personallly love V-twins....the power is awsome. Woouldn't want one though due to the oil problem. Everyone I know that stunts them goes through motors like mad men!!!!!! Sucks, still want one though :YEAH

Re: tl1000
I ride a tlR now but am saving up for another bike and want to keep this bike for cruzing around and twisties and stuff. When i stunt my bike for long periods of time it smokes, and drips oil after i park it. It is a sick bike though
