The 04 gixxer sixxer is badass, no doubt about it, But i really think you'll enjoy your self on the 636. Come on, give the old green monster a try :YEAH

Number one thing is, Rock what you got!
i wont know if the 05 636 will be good for circles seeing that it has not been released....it could not be as well balanced as the 03-04 for all we know

It's cool though, the 03-04 636 are great bikes. I bet someone on stuntlife will get one soon, and will be able to tell ya how well balanced it is, But since it is prolly meant to win races, it'll prolly be very well blanaced.
YA.....considering i have all winter to decide ill keep my ears open will see wats up with 2005

You could go with the 750, but i'd still pick the 636 over it, the light weight just makes a bid difference i hear

There's only a 5-6 pound difference between the gix 6 and 750, so at max there would only be what, 15 pounds between the 750 and 636?'
I can't see how that amount of weight would really have much of an affect on handling and stuff.

Is anyone wondering why a 15 year old is talking about bikes that he probably hasn't even sat on before.

Both are great bikes! Both will blow motors, and are a little on the fragile side. But if you want a bike that is light, that is what you are going to get! Both bikes have radial front breaks, so I don't see a huge difference there! But if you are going to buy a wrecked bike you will spend three times as much on parts on a kawasaki vs. suzuki

The fairing stay bracket is an easy fix, my boy down here at truckers world rigged me a gangsta stay LOL. If you get the 636 and need some help on replacing the stay just holla at me. I never thought about getting the vortex fairing stay, thats a good idea but it might be kind of pricey

I went and saw some bikes get dynod at a local shop. A 01 750 with full pipe + PC got 113 rwhp. a 636 with full pipe + pc3 + custom map dynod 111rwhp...

Re: 636 or gsxr 600 04...

Bikes are different than cars I think.
In my state I think you can have a motorcycle permit at 14 and ride with dad or something. When you turn 15 you can get your license to ride a motorcycle on the street.
Does anyone know for sure?
