Re: ever loop a wheelie?

well if you stay full throttle while attempting a wheelie... it will go over backwards..... you'll learn

Re: ever loop a wheelie?

you got really lucky for going down at 80 and thats all you got. Be safe bro, i just kinda looped last weekend, i scraped a 12 for the first time without a bar and i just let the bike go and i fell over. It was slow stuff so im not bad.
Be careful and wear leathers!!!!!!!

Re: ever loop a wheelie?

I looped my bike about a month ago now and it is not stoping me at all. It actaully encouraged me more to do the stunts. I sorry to see all that rash that you got, but it prolly time that you invest in some gear. I am a strong beleiver in gear. When I looped I got a couple of bruises and a little rash on my elbow where the jacket went through. So be safe and dont give up.. COVER THE BRAKE.. Tha Chain

Re: ever loop a wheelie?

Same **** happened to me a month ago looped it around 90 I hit an uneven payment where some construction was never finished on the highway.. I was wearing gear that night so got most of the road rash on my hands and knees still looked nasty as hell though. If you haven't gone to the hospital already go trust me. I decided not to go and stayed home putting hydrogen peroxide and some neosporion, started showing signs of infection and had to scrub it my self. After all that scrubbing I still ended up going to the hospital a week and a half later because my left hand looked like I had a baseball glove on got X-rays and some cream called silver sulfadiazine. My hands and knees still look all ****ed up but getting better. Just know your limits on the bike and dont push it. 2 weeks after I wrecked I was back on the bike riding doesnt mean that you have to stop riding. Good luck and remember to cover that rear brake.

Re: ever loop a wheelie?

Looped my brand new '04 gsx-r 1000 back in June. Was going about 80mph.
I broke my left wrist real bad. Had surgery and they put a bunch of pins and screws and some plates in there. I had a hole in my right knee down to the bone. I also tore all the muscles in my right shoulder. Road rash here and there too. I was out for a month. Two months later I looped it again going about 40mph. I was wearing only shorts and a tank top. I got some nasty road rash on my legs, shoulder, and arms. Like CBO says, power wheelies suck. Clutch that **** and learn the rear brake. Probably would have saved my *** both times.

Re: ever loop a wheelie?

I've looped out several times. I've crashed a lot but never on camera of course. Hell I even crashed in front of my mom!!! The pic of my foot in my avatar was some of the aftermath of the road rash from my last mishap it was damn near to the bone. Even with my twelve attempts all I've done was loop out and fall the **** off the bike. :YEAH :YEAH
