mooseknucklemotorsports.com makes them. Will do it for any bike they can get their hands on locally. These are the ones on the starboyz bikes.

Re: interest in upper fairing cage?

Id be interested in something that protects the damn corners of the upper cowl, and maybe somethin that stiffens up the wind shield mount area's, just cause even with a 905 cage on my friends F2, ive already seen it hit the edges of the cowl.

Moose knuckle does really good work. I couldn't find a pic, so I photoshopped this up. They call them 'moose antlers' Most guys aip ties them to the windscreen with foam for support for their legs. It also keeps your upper from flapping around, and its something to grab onto for bar tricks or whatever.

Re: interest in upper fairing cage?

They can make it all fit together if they have the bracket durring the fabrication.

and heirin lies my question.......what kinds of dampers do you all want to run,.......I have a scotts and will design it around that for now........i am not going to go straight up like in the pic, I feel it is too in the way.......instead I am thinking of going up about 2 inches and rolling it up to the windshield mirror brackets, around the windscreen and back down to the gauge support.

Re: interest in upper fairing cage?

Yeah this is a good idea huh Mark?
I have to cut a couple more pieces then have you tack them together. Mine will be designed around a Scott/Ohlins dampner design and after the fall that pushed in my upper some this past weekend I am going to really try and get this thing rollin.

Re: interest in upper fairing cage?

One of my guys and I have them.

They were made by racing905 for us. the ones we have slide over the stock stay bracket where it mounts to the frame and gets bolted to the same mounts as the stock stay. It does not go in front of the tank, so no issues with dampners.

I can post pics if you are interested.

They are working on complete replacement upper stays with these built in soon.

Yo' Sammy, hit up Binder929, I saw a guy in Austin once that said Binder made him a brace for his 929. Looked solid.
