Re: f4i cages?

as a note...I've seen the FI cage in action on a few F4i's and would highly recommend one.

Re: f4i cages?

I think powers makes a f4i cage too. I got the 905 cage and it paid itself off a few times. I'm happy with it so far

Ive looked at the pics of FI cages and they to me dont look near as sturdy as the Racing 905 cage. If you ask me the FI cage looks chinsey.

Re: f4i cages?

I just went to MXD after going through two 905's. Loved the 905 but wanted to try something diff. The MXD is rather large, but looks well made. Cant loose with 905 though imo.

i recommend the FI cage to you, i have it and it has taken some good hits and no damage. i've seen the 905 one bend so bad you have to cut them off. plus you hit your shins on them all the time.

Re: f4i cages?

yeah good point on the shin's factor, my buddies 905 cage on his F2 is like that, but he zip tied a piece of padding on on both and it serves now as a good resting point, my short *** isnt that bad with hittin them but he had a bruise from it when he first got it, i found it funny of course heh.

This guy B-Mac made my cage, and its the best cage out there, cuz my friends have 905 and FI, the kid with the FI cage has already replaced it because the frame sliders are so long they broke off, he now also has a B-Mac cage which are sick. I've had some pretty hard crashes (hit building at 40 mph etc...) and my cage is still perfect. The guy is out of Brocton Massachusetts, he makes cages for Reckless Methods, if u want i could hook u up with his cell

um 905 made ur cage, b mac made ur bar, and any hard crash will ruin a cage, it wasnt cuz the fi sliders were a bad design, they saved me mant times, that crash wud have ruined any cage. and the front of ur biek hit the building thats why ur cage isnt ruined. the front of my bike hit a tree and my fi cages wasnt ruined. ur cage wasnt even invovled in that crash.

Re: f4i cages?

Freestyle Ingenuity cages work the best on F4i's!!! No doubt about that. Maybe all those guys that are having problems witht he FI cages are running gixxers......

I have had my cage for approx. a month or so now, and have dropped it time and time again, trying to get these circles figured out, and the only problem that I have run into is breaking off bits of the delron tips(that is however, from wipping a circle into a highside, and dropping the bike hard)!

Get a Freestyle cage for your F4i, you will not be sorry, and tell Tim I sent ya.... maybe he will throw in an extra delron tip for ya.....

yeah i ride with the 905 cage with the foam padding wrapped around it and there has been no problems with it, and no bruised shins.
