Streetfighter headlight

Hey, Im going to streetfighter my 95 CBR900. For all of you out there that have a more streetfighter setup, what kind of headlight kit do you use in the front?

Does it have to be DOT certified to be street legal? What brand is the best to go with? Right now im looking at the UFO Oregon, but it doesnt look like it has high/low beems, and its not DOT certified.

Help me out. Are the twins better???

Re: Streetfighter headlight

in jersey, any headlight fixture is legal as long as you have a low and a high beam. 35 watt min. but no more than 50 watt max for low beam, and at least 60 watt for the high. my acerbis nose doesn't have a toggle switch for low and high beams, but some basic electronics will fix that, so long as they are powered by a 12v source (in other words, an inline fuse directly to your batt). i'm the only stunter in my community, so the man is on me for everything. if your popo is as wack as mine, simply go to your county website and look up auto regulation postulates...print out the summons that have to do with your modifications and carry it with you. i love shovin' it in their face when they try 2 get me on late-month quota bullcrap.

my **** in the above post is 55 watts each! one is projector and the other is a spotlight. brighter than regular headlights on my 954.

acerbis is the ****...UFO dont sell one that pumps out 55 watts, i dont think anyone does that looks that good.
