Re: ttr125...xr50

I've had both. The fiddy is a blast and its great to learn rear brake on. But its nothing like a real bike. The size and power isn't their. The ttr had enough power and a clutch. Because of the size of the ttr and its controls it will crossover to your big bike better.

Re: ttr125...xr50

Get the 50, easier to learn on and less$$. TTR will me more like the big bike, yea, cause it's a bigger bike. But the 50 will make learning the tricks easier and then you'll have the idea for how to attack the big bike. The only thing is you will have to ride the 900 more than the 50 to keep the feel of the big bike, this will help the transfer. GOOD LUK

I have an XR100 and love it!!!!!!!!! I like it better than the 50 and actually got it cheaper once I would have put the new bars on and everything. It helped me out alot with the clutch work.

Re: ttr125...xr50

I have a 50, it helped me out alot....doesn't have a lot of power so you have to balance it and use the brake. tt-r's are fun too...either way they'll both help improve your skills.
