I've ran Sunoco 94 and I've ran no-name 89 etc......Can't tell the difference, maybe the dyno would???

You can run as high as you want. The higher you go, the less combustible the fuel mixture. How much hp do you want to loose?

93 for me. You would figure since we put a beating on our motors that we should put the highest octane. Longevity is the key!

it just changes the flash point of the gas igniting and burning cleaner. with 87 octane you run the risk of detonation with high compression engines like ours....leave 87 to the fiddys and cars

spend the extra sixty cents to fill your tank are you guys that broke or what use 92 it raises the flash point yes to prevent pre ignition on a hot engine or advanced timming or high compresion motor and mine is all three and im sure most of yours are too and it will not take away horsepower that is just not true but if you are running higher octane than you need to you will just be waisting your sixty cents

I used to use premium but fVck that. i can get more practice in with the cheap stuff.......cant tell the difference

I think the higher HP/bigger the engine---runs hotter....needs higher octane

I read that 89 is the best mix for a bike...not burnin as hot as 87...but has a lower combusting temp than the higher oc's so your burnin more of the fuel with less waist...backfires

you know what gas in bikes is extra fun is 110 octane when you can find it. talk about your bike growing some instant *****.....

BTW....yeah gas is more expensive now than ever....but i have to say....40-55 mpg is something ill take every day...and honestly...it costs 7 bucks to fill up the tank unless you run 110 race gas.....

running 110 will not make your bike any faster unless you get high compression pistons. It does make it smell good though.
