Place to ride for Bike Week 2005

I know last year we were afforded the opportunity to ride at the Lakeland dragstrip.! With the results of last years disrespect I am sure this will not be the case agian. I plan to be in the Central Flordia area all week. Will there be a place that "out of towners" can go and ride/practice? Are there any events at bike week that are being planned? Is there anything I can do from Arizona to help?

It will probably be open practice at the dragstrip, HOWEVER I would get with myself or one of the other local teams before you head out there.

The main rules to follow are: Throw your trash away, clean up any oil spills, DO NOT ride on the paved black surface, DO NOT tamper with any of the property out there(Cars, Tractors, etc.), and sign the waiver. These are the main ones that Roy(track owner) has a real problem with if broken. They are pretty simple and should come 2nd nature anyways, but like always there will be some punk as$ clowns that try to be cool. Any of the local teams should have some copies of the waivers to sign...if not I will give them some.

I should be out there most of the days. Thursday and Saturdays the track hold Test and Tune, so they will make you leave around 3:30-4:00pm.

What Bikeweek are you talking about? Todd's event(Stuntoberfest) doesn't even go on until October 17th and that is a week before. Then you have Glen's event on the 23rd (11am-Midnight). Look in Upcomming events all the 411.
