Slow $hit(newbie)
I am just learning to do wheelies. My question is would it be wise to learn slow **** first because it is less risk..... by slow **** I mean 30mph and slower. And if so what should my practice sessions consist of. Also would it be worth gatting a fiddy simply to help me stunt my big bike 900rr

Re: Slow $hit(newbie)
there really not a way to learn slow wheelies first.i think most riders started with first gear powerwheelies chased out to redline..im sure someone has done it but before you do slow **** you gotta learn faster ****...like where the balance point is and how to slow it down with the brake.ive yet to learn slow **** yet..its not so much slow **** im wanting to learn but to have total wheelie control no matter what speed thats why ive having a bar and cage built for me and ordered a 53 tooth sprocket

I'm seeing peeps down this way rolling some good slow chit with stock gearing. It can be done.
You don't usually start with slow chit because the gyroscopic effect that holds you up while you are learning isn't there for you. Even after you've learned 30+ mph wheelies there is a high probability that when you learn slow chit your bike will be falling over a few times at least.
Personally I'm too big a wussy to let my bike take a dive to the pavement yet. Well, at least not the bike I'm on now. I cartwheeled my gixxer about 10 times flipping it going around 50.
