Re: To loop a bike!

Voted...I'd have to say flipped. Loop is when you start at one point and come all the way back around. Most of the time you DON'T.

Re: To loop a bike!

I flipped my gixxer towards the end of July.

I was in third gear doing a standup over a hill and went airborn, then the wind caught me, I was F'd at that point. I slid 300 feet on my face. That's why they make protective gear. I was sportin it, no doubt about that.

I climbed out of the ditch and my buds loaded the bike into the back of a truck and I went home. Ironically there was several accidents that weekends, some from highspeed chases even. I went home because I was wearing gear. The other idiots went to the hospital. A few even got free helicopter rides via careflight.

Flipping a bike sucks. It totals it, no doubt about that. It took me 20+ years to finally do that to one so I didn't let it get me down. It happened on a Saturday, 6 days later I bought another bike. The next weekend I had it at Deals Gap TN (318 turns - 11 miles) breakin it in... so it's all good now.

Looping is the worst!! I looped my bike a couple of weeks ago....Total Loss!
The lesson I learned, never stunt on a bike you don't want scratches on! My bike was in mint cond. and now it's Phucked!!!!!!
