i dont like the 905 type cages cause of the bar infront of your shins.. have fun mashing ya shins.. i have the FI cage on my gsxr and i just went over the other day 12 oclock gone wobbly and i just let the bike go, i got a scuff on my tail section and scuff on the back of the mirror.. thats it.. cage took the hit like a champ.

Re: gages and 12 bars

Get a freestyle cage. I had a powers and it snapped in half underneath the bike. Then I set it down on it's side and the two broken ends crushed one of my head pipes. They are garbage. 905 makes a nice cage, but you tend to hit your shins a lot. My shins used to get brused to **** almost every time I rode.

Re: gages and 12 bars

Had a 905 cage on the gixxer.it took some good slams from 12 attempts and just tippin it over cause I could. Also took a 50 MPH loop like a champ. not a dent in it. Cracked a motor mount though... but if you would have seen the wreck... I don't think anything could have held up. But the thing with the shins is true... I would bang mine all the time. Be prepared for bruises, esp if your tall! My next bike I"m gonna try an FI cage. I always hear good things about them
