i know all about gettin hit by a car. some guy t-boned me and i got stuck under his car. he tried to pull a hit and run and draged me under his truck for like 400 yards. **** is no joke. worst off my bike was totalled and he was a unliscened uninsured illegal from mexico. i hope the best for you and your recovery. :YEAH

yeah man that **** sux, i know how you feel, i got hit last year, guy ran a stop sign, doin ****in 90, hit a commercial truck that was pulling a steam roller, and i couldnt stop before i ran into them, the commerciall truck that got hit slid into me, guy had no license, nor any kind of insurance, i lost my first bike, brand new 2003 limited edition R6, it was brand new, got not a damn thing out of any of it, 8k dollar bike, plus medical bills and scar tissue, **** sux, my advice to you is get a Damn good lawyer, and truly from heart, im glad your alright, just had a friend leave the hospital, stayed there for almost 3 months, brain trauma and ****, be thankfull thats all that happened, but its still awfull what happened 2 you man, best of luck towards your recovery

Man, first of all, if the guy didn't run you're going to sue the crap out of him I hope, so if he offers, DON'T TAKE ANYTHING from him. If he like, offered to give you enough to cover 1/2 of your medical bills, but implied that he was going to pay for everything else, but you never got that in writing, In court he can use that and say that you called it an even trade. Meaning; by accepting anything from him and can be called payment from him to you for what he did, and it's possible to use that in court to say that because you accepted, he doesn't owe you a dime.

I'm only saying all this because someone I know from college got hit on his 929 and the guy gave him some money at the scene and then tried to use that against by budy. Courts can suck.

But that's why you need to get a really, REALLY good lawer. Honestly, you don't want to chince out on a lawer if you really have a case against this guy, and seeing that he blew a light, I'd say you do. A Lawer with a lot of expirience in motorcycle injuries like yours would probably be your best bet, but don't cheap out, a good lawer can mean the difference between getting $10,000 and $100,000.

Good luck healing man, and get all the pain meds you can for when you need them later in life.

my cousin's husband was hit by a dodge ram on his r6.. he flew like 50 feet before hitting the ground and was all f*cked up, when the guy (who was on his cell phone) got out of his truck he told someone to call 911 (not panicing at all, and still on his ccell phone!!!!) well, when some lady told him she did call, he was like "oh, ok, someone called, i can keep talking" u f*cking believe that?!?!?!? well, he broke his hip, both legs, arm, shoulder, roadrash, and more that i cant remember.. he ended up suing the guy, and got a 250,000 f*ckin settlement!! (he owns his own business, so the guy who hit him had to pay the amount of money he would have made through his business to him for the time he was hurt... plus medical bills, for the bike, and alot more... turns out he bought a really nice house with the money, married my cousin, lol, and hasnt even thought about touching a bike since....
