Re: high chair?

throttle control.. if you get scared let off the gas!

all tricks are hard the first time you do it.. then they become easy..

crossovers are easy... crossover wheelies are fun... crossover 12s are even more fun!

Re: high chair?

Ya definately better to learn spreader first get the feel for being up on the tank and getting it up with more weight up front.

Re: high chair?

I find highchairs ALOT easier than splitters. In the highchair your planted on the bike, while the splitter, your holding on tight.

Re: high chair?

I ****ed myself hard trying to learn highchairs. So I was smartass trying 2nd thinking it's easier cuz it's smoother than 1st. I tought my stock 636 is underpowered for this and I fihured out I was wrong, so why not ride it a bit higher. I go higher and my *** slides down the tank pullin my right arm, arm twisting the throttle. So I did highchair 12 scrape and ****ed myself and the bike reeeeealy bad at 90-95 mph.

What did I learn from this:

1) Learn spreaders first
2) Don't higchair w/out dented tank
3) Wear a helmet and all the other gear (saved my life)

P.S. Now I have no bike to ride...

Re: high chair?

ride around in an empty parking lot and get used to the feeling of being on the highchair, then scoot your *** as far back until your arms are pretty stiff and locked (helped my highchairs tremendously) then clutch a baby one up and get used to it all, if all else fails shut off the throttle to come down, but try and be smooth while on the highchair, an extra 150 pounds over your forks not smooth will blow the seals

very easy....... first get compfrotable riding around in the highchair position, (dent your tank in) and make sure that you have good throttle control on your wheelies.....then put the two together...

Re: high chair?

Like Kaneone said any stunt feels lil strange when you first strat off once you experience it it becomes lil easy
you need to change your sprockets if you have a 600 cuz those things wont come up in 2nd gear (i tried tank wheelie on an R6, didnt happen)

Re: high chair?

How the hell do you get off a high chair though? Hell I've seen guys who were just riding around in a high chair position, not up on one or anything. When they decided to stop, the damn bike nearly comes over them or they end up laying it down on one side.

You do not need to change sprockets, you can lift it full stock in 2nd, just rev the hell outa it and lean back.

Stock gearing w/ 2nd gear will KILL your 750 when you are over the bars. Use 1st. Do your bike a favor and dont gernade your clutch basket.
