help with speedometer

The Yellow Box is made by Black Robotics.
It uses a series of rocker switches that you flip to determine speed.
You can fine tune it a few ways.
First, you can figure out what speed you are going based on RPM using gear ratio calculations and adjust the Yellow Box accordingly until the speed displayed is in agreeance with what your tach is telling you.
Second, you can get a friend to pace you (keep in mind bike speedos are about 8% on the optimistic side from the factory) and tune it that way until you're satisfied.
Thid, you can use a GPS and adjust the Yellow Box until displayed speed is the same as the GPS speed (but remember you need to keep a real steady throttle hand so the GPS can get a steady reading (they have a latency obviously)).
And finally, if you have a lot of those "know your speed" things in your city that cops put up to 'remind' people how fast they are going, keep passing that until you have the Box fine tuned.

you can get a cycle computer, like Sigma bc 700 / bc 800, and it's accurate to more than 160mph. that will do the trick.
you can find one for about 20$
