Re: Tell me....

You know what...for your first bike, you should really consider either the '99 or '00 version of the Hayabusa. That bike will get you much respect!

Nah...on the serious side I've heard from lots of people that the carb versions of the R6 did have some trasmission problems. In fact my neighbor just bought him a '99 R6 (luckly w/Warrentee) and in less than 8 months his transmission went to ****. Had to have it replaced ($2 G's). But he didn't have to pay

I've heard Honda's are the perfect beginner bikes. Very user friendly. I was going to get one, but came across an excellent deal on a Gixxer 750 that I just couldn't pass up.

Honda F4i....GO FOR IT!!! :YEAH

YEAH!!!! DO IT, f4i's are awesome bikes. I love mine And if your only 18 then a 600 is the only way to go for now. I went from a 900rr to a 600F4i because insurance. Im 17. Trust me, once you learn to ride, or ride good then you'll love it and you can find them for cheap. :YEAH

Re: Tell me....

yea r6s dont turn slow for **** im always u turnin mine dirt bike style with the steering locked to one side, but oince your movin its a whole new world you can feel the ground soooo good so you know really how hard you can push the bike otherbikes will just slip out without any warning although the new r6s do turn alot better at slow speeds (like 5-10mph)i just find it hard to cruise on mine, and im sure you would be much happier on a honda goldwing i mean f4i ,r6s just want to be ridden hard i will always love my r6
