From what i understand they can't find a spot so I don't think it is going to happen!!!!!!!!

thatd be cool to do somethin in iowa city, but its gettin pretty chilly. But if you guys wanna set a date or somethin then we'd be glad to come help or watch or whatever. Whats fu(ked up is that the junk cars and the car club could have got a spot 1-6 months in advance and the lot owners wouldn't have thought twice about the burnout marks. The church was prolly more pissed off about the complaints from Burger King b/c cause of noise. Fu)king Puss1es. They got all that Biz and had no respect for what broght it there. The old walmart lot would better for those reasons. If the damn airport would shut down one strip that would be the best. Hell only like one maybe two planes fly in on a weekend. This town just blows and until the riders in this town start getting some skillz its not gonna get big here. I'm included in that statment. There are just to many old people in this town, thinking that we need stop lights every half block to stop racing.

They just dont get it. Give u a spot to let people go rip there **** up, (reopen the old drag strip)and then the coolest thing it Keokuk to do wouldn't be to cruise main street and rob sites.

Sorry just needed to vent. This would be a great time for everyone if the town would let it happen.

 

Hey pavement keep me posted if you here about anything here or in Iowa city. I'm back to working yet. So I got a truck, bike, maybe my wheeler will be fixed, and I got a trailor, that need to be used. And if more people need there **** pulled up there than I know people that got bigger trailors. Let me know.

 

Have you guys ever thought about just closing off a back street for a day. Usually when there is a chance for the city board to line their pockets a little they're more apt to let you do things like this. If you find out when your next local town meeting is (call the police station they will know) just ask to be put on the ajenda. Put together a mision statement ( what you would like to do with the road) How it will benifit your local bussinesses and ask them what they would charge for the permits. I know this all sounds like a lot of work but if you want to do it bad enough...........

If you have a local drag strip that closed down that would be even better. It must be private property so offer the owner some $. Technically you would not be racing so the town can't step in on that. If you need noise permits just make sure the person who applies for them has a clean record, I know

If you start know you will have more time to counter any questions or problems they might have for next year. Do one early in the year and you would have time to possibly do another one later on?

Sounds like a lot of b.s. to go through but again, HOW BAD DO WANT IT!!!

Hey playa, I've had my hand in all that mess last year. Tried to get something set up at the old dragstrip, the owner wouldnt allow anything coz the track is so tore up. so I said screw it, I'll buy it and do the damn work myself. Keep in mind this track hasnt been used in like 20 years. I figured I'd offer them 25grand for the strip thinking they'd jump all over it. WRONG, these muthaphuckas think its a gold site and want 200 grand for it! pffffftttttttttt!

As for city permits, tried that too. The city wasnt interested coz they had no idea what a stunt show was. Well after the last show that I put on, I think they realized what kind of crowds it can bring and I'm thinken next year we may have some opportunities to do some sort of charity show to show them hopw safe its become. After that we may be able to to do more in the future.

Like I said, I'll get my hands durty this winter and see what can happen.

I'm more than likely gonna need some help, so I'll be needen all the local KTown peeps interested in helpen out to shot me a pm with their numbers.

Hey Chris sorry man a stuntshow in keokuk isnt gonna happen. Pavement and I are going to try 2 get 2 shows next year. No Offense to the guys trying to pull this off. But the city of Keokuk isn't going to take anything they have to say seriously, because of there age. They first thing that they see is punk kids wanting to tear **** up.

On the other hand Pavement and I have some age, so that should help out for next year. Not saying that we have any pull with the city but that how this town works. It sucks because when you say stunt show they here law suit. And the younger you are the $$$$ they here leaveing their pockets. Its fu(ked up but nothing ant of us can do about it.
