i'd run a non o-ring chain if i was just going to practice in the parking lot. I wouldn't if i planned on going 150mph plus on the highway... but with big sprockets you ain't gonna go that fast anyway...

I use a 71 tooth and a non o-ring 530 chain, works perfect! Less friction caused(good), wears out faster than the gold DID 530 o-ring chain does(bad)

Unless you take the best care possible I wouldn't do it. If you don't clean and lube it everytime you ride it won't last at all. Buy a good one and save the headache.

I would always go with better. You buy cheap crap you get more headaches. My ladies give me enough of them.
