stuntin a gsxr 750

i live in colorado. altitude..... im in the process of buying an 01 gsxr 750 with a pipe and some computer work done and i think a power commander. i used to have a 99 cbr 900 with +8 sprockets pipe, intake, and jetted. it would not come up in second or third gear..any type of wheelie. i can do pretty good first gear stand ups and sitdowns. is this bike a good bike ( 750) to start doing cowboys, high chairs etc. i want top be able to to 3rd gear high way wheelies and 2nd gear "tank" wheeelies..

i would love some feed back from everyone. thanks guys.

The gixxer wont come up either.. it will break as soon as you turn the key. Happens to mine all the time.

I know those as (spreaders) or (tank wheelies), my bad.You just have to know the bikes power and how high to rev it when u slip the clutch. Maybe throw your body weight back when u clutch it up, that may help a little.

Re: stuntin a gsxr 750

its your technique then.. and to answer your question, the 750 is a good bike. However, its not the answer to your prayers of highway spreaders and make-them-panties-drop highchairs. Work on your technique.

Re: stuntin a gsxr 750

Slip the clutch, dont dump it. Start @ maybe 3-4krpms. Learn throttle control once its up, learn bp without the rearbrake. Dont fight the bike, become one with it, harness your 'chi', quit your job, spend all your money and max out your cards on parts for your bike. :YEAH

Basically practice your *** off.. tank wheelies dont take much, but the lift off is the most important part. Timing (clutch/thottle) and not being scared basically.

Re: stuntin a gsxr 750

explain slipping the clutch. i understand what it is but when ready for the bike to come up im focused on it coming up to bp. not the clutch control. my friends here say to just use one or two fingers and just popthe clutch. pull in real fast and let go. like 1 sec worth of clutch time. is this the wrong way?

Re: stuntin a gsxr 750

dude, with a 900 with 8 up in the rear, you should be able to roll on 2nd gear wheelies with no clutch......i have a 2000 r1 with about 14000 miles and 2 down up front with stock rear sprocket, and can roll on stand ups in 2nd gear anywhere from 30-75 mph (that's what my speedo says, but it's off since in have 2 down up front) try standing on rear peg with left leg and leaning back a little when you give it gas

Yeah for the most part thats right. Get the revs to jump just slightly by disengagging the clutch while simultaniously chopping the throttle, then getting back on it.

[Why would you attempt a standup in first gear on a 750? theres way too much power to try and do that in first gear
