what do u guys think of MMI, im thinking about goin down in january to attend, just figured i would post up and see if anyone has or will be attending, and just your thoughts on the school.

 

im goin after i pay off my bike and save some money for a place but ive been told its good so i there too :YEAH

 

Well if you want to go in january, you should have signed up months ago. There's a pretty long waiting list.

 

heard its alot of money to be spending on a school thats going to turn you into a grease monkey.

 

hey bro i just graduated uti a month ago, now im in the middle of ford fact. do some research first, go talk to some mechanics at some shops. bike mechanics really don'tmake much money but if thats what you wanna do go for it. hit me up if you want to know anything else.

 

yea i know they dont make too much money, but i would le to open up my own shop, kinda do regular mechanic stuff and then some stunting stuff, also if that doesnt work out i want to try and make it onto a race team

 

Exactly. Don't expect to make the money they say you can.

 

Go to AMI you can learn just as much and it isn't nearly as overpriced as MMI

 

JUNIOR COLLEGES offer motorcycle programs....

 

more money institute, heard if u kno alil about bikes already thats all ull come out knowing after all that money they just raped u for!

 

i am going in january. i think it will be a pretty good investment but that is my opinnion.

 

you'll get a decent education, its just finding a decent job that's hard.

 

I go to MMI in phx right now, I just started in the beggining of July... for 900 bucks a class, I think I could have went somewhere else and got the same education at a way lower price... It's not bad for training but I think its too expensive, I'm studying for the Harley Davidson and just found out that theres 2 colleges in Kansas that offer classes for HD.
If I had to do it again, I think I'd go to another comm college or trade school.

anybody who loves riding , i wouldnt suggest becoming a mechanic, they have no time to ride, they work so much they are stuck to riding at night, ask Standy on here, hes a mechanic at a dealership and they work him 6 days a week, he is good at what he does too, but he allways has to ride at night
