Re: Special No Thanks To...

rodge, dont knock the judging, the **** was fair!

heres an example of how the runs could be different: 5 judges total

xrodge: diff - 18 ..... exec - 17 ...... overall (3 judges) - 16-16-17

toast: diff - 16 ..... exec - 17 ...... overall (3 judges) - 17-17-18

i dont have the right talleys, this is just an example of how toast could beat rodgcc in the sickest trick comp!

toast wins by 1 point.....just like the outcome of this event!

I agree scraping a high chair is more difficult then standing on top of your fairing, so if toast says this is bullshit.....then swap the cash and call it even!

let's here your thoughts...

Another thing tho, Rodg's execution was awesome. He just came out, scraped down and back, over. Toast kept having to try to get the bike straight, etc, and finally did the trick.

you have to remember, even at a all stunt event, all the people in the crowd are not on good old stuntlife. not all of em know how hard different tricks are. fact is crowds always go for LOUD and DANGEROUS = high speed

thats why at a local event here in MD the MPZ boys lost doing circle wheelies to a guy who did a high chair combo wheelie... i was in the contest and knew they should have won, but the event is judged on crowd noise...

Re: Special No Thanks To...

Dear Stunting...

Now you say you’re lonely
You cry the long night through
Well, you can cry me a river
Cry me a river
I cried a river over you

Now you say you’re sorry
For being so untrue
Well, you can cry me a river
Cry me a river
I cried a river over you

You drove me, nearly drove me, out of my head
While you never shed a tear
Remember, I remember, all that you said?
You told me love was too plebeian
Told me you were through with me and

Now you say you love me
Well, just to prove that you do
Come on and cry me a river
Cry me a river
I cried a river over you
I cried a river over you
I cried a river...over you...

This is bullshit! HC scrapes, I heart you!

Re: Special No Thanks To...

this is why "comps" should be measured, not judged, ex: LONGEST coaster, stoppie; MOST circles, ect... measured, undisputable, fair, ect...

Re: Special No Thanks To...

This is a great thread...keeps me awake while I'm at work....thought I'd add my two cents...
If you're looking to get rich or even just to pay the bills from doing stunts in front of people maybe you should get a real job. Or pick up a different hobby/pastime...because that’s what it is..It’s a hobby...just like fishing... I bet you'll never see a fisherman at the local lake complaining that he doesn't make enough money fishing and he can't pay the bills... you know why?? Because there is no money in fishing... just like this stunt thing.... Sure a few people (i.e. the OGs) can make a living off of doing stunt competitions selling DVDs, t-shirts, cages, webpages, etc. etc.. But the average Joe Fisherman shouldn't let themselves believe that they can.... sorry if I just shot down your goals and dreams...Someone needs to bring you back into reality...

This isn't directed to anyone specifically... just wanted to put it out there.. If your panties are all up in a bunch after reading this... see Mike's post above..."Cry Me A River"...

if said "local lake" was having a competition and he caught all the fish but lost because the local judges thought the he's already caught too many fish and pulled some bs to make hime lose i gaurantee he'd be pissed

This sort of reminds me of the 2000 presidential election.... but in all honesty, the competition is over, and the judges spoke their mind. Unfortunetely, innocent people go to jail too...

just my
