and one of rog, coming down off a 50/50 scrape with no hand brake.. i dont want to take **** away from toast's watch tower, it was tight, hell i havent tried it yet. but i know from personal experience how hard it is to hit 2 or three fast scrapes in a row and keep them balanced, **** that multiple high chair scrape was technical as hea ***** fukka....

I agree with Cbo, until comps start raising the prize money, there is no reason you should risk life and limb for 500 bucks, doing a 600ft plus endos, or h/c scrapes, or any other high risk move.
When you can book yourself a show and make a 1000 dollars @ a local dragstrip by doing 100 ft endos, and regular h/chairs and the crowd will never know the difference.

Ok, First of all............
Shugg had absolutly NOTHING to do with the judging this weekend. He was there to promote his event, and help run things, and that's all. HE WAS NOT A JUDGE. So how could any of this be focused towards him? There were 5 judges. Several have been involved with the stunt riding community for years, one of them a sponsered XSBA pro rider, and one and experienced motorcycle rider, who's catagory for judging was "overall performance". Just like explained during the riders meetings, this category was for the "crowd pleasing" effectivness. The other four judges all had specific areas that they had to grade on. Execution, Difficulty, & Variation. The judging guidelines were taken right from the XSBA rule book. Until there's better guidelines, they'll continue to be used, just like in every other stunt competition today.
Rodger is off the hook........ Scraping a highchair 6 times is nuts, I know I was impressed. BUT, there were several other riders there that executed the same stunt better and smoother then he did. NOBODY was able to complete a watch tower, except for Toast.
And in Robbie's defense...... The final rankings in the sickest trick competition were decided by our "celebrity judge".
The last guy that made this big of a stink about judging was Paully from LVX..... you can see where that got him--

Re: Special No Thanks To...
the only comps i havent witnessed this type of judging was at wbbf in cali and psychofest. just at stuntrageous in ny a couple weeks ago same type of crap judging. im not saying judging is an easy thing, but these mistakes are complete garbage. if a watchtower beats highchair scraping with no handbrake im going to ride my idle on the bar to the moon... live and learn i guess.

damn...
the funny part about this story is I thought was was joking about being upset when he was there...
if it was the crowd judging...the Wtower would have won no matter what...they where screaming and yelling crazy when he pulled it off! (they where really into it) the crowd had no idea what rodger was doing...it looked like he was doing a choppy HC from the stands (scrape go...scrape go) i knew it was very difficult...but from the crowds view...it was the same **** they where see'n ALL day long....im pretty sure that EVERY rider in the comp had HC's...there was a dude on a busa doing them and a guy on blackbrid
I know rodger...see him all the time/spots/bars/bars and more (i clearly dont hate him and he knows it)...why he wants to rag on me i dont know...i gave him an 18 out of 20 possible points...i gave toast 16 or 17...it wasnt my decissoin he got 2nd....i got paper work to prove it. ****...rodg is lucky J-beats bike blew up...aparently he missed him scrape his stock tail 20 times in a row in a HC (rounded hiddin bar inside of tail section 5-6 inches shorter past 12'o) during a different event.
if rodg was smart he would have entered am or pro individual contest....there was pleanty of money to be won. i was pist off because basicly NO one from Chicago rep'd in other events...it would have been easy money for Curt from IBWS...
where wear my peeps for the individual events? I know all ready...at the spot riding..BS!!
O yea...since this thread will get so much attension.....
I'd like to give a "shot out" to St.L Shockers/SF'z for pro team freestyle event...they tore it up!

I don't even know why I'am even getting in to this but here goes.
First of all the reason why payouts are so low is that nobody shows up to these events, how can you have a large payout and not take any money in? If there is a small crowd, one person shows up for longest stoppie and the pay out is 10,000 where does that money come from. A lot of people said they were going but didn't show up.
Second, it doesn't matter how gay bartricks are or how hard highchair scrapes are, its what the crowd likes. Ballot system sounds like a good idea. I was there and Rodger's highchair scrapes were sick as hell, but the crowd went crazy over this dude standing on his head light, while the bike was moving. I realize how technical both tricks are and no hand brake is crazy, but the crowd doesn't realize that and the main reason there was payouts is because there was a crowd. Other riders were scraping highchairs too and they had hand brakes, but the crowd doesn't know what you have on your bike or half the time what it does. There was only one guy standing on his head light and he rode out of it. I'm not taking anyone's side, just my
