Question 954RR vs. 1000RR

i am going to be buying a new bike soon and havn't had the chance to test ride them yet but i was wondering if anyone could let me know how a 1000RR compares to a 954RR as far as balance and stuntability goes i know how good of a record the 954's and 929's have as stunt bikes and was wondering if a 1000RR is better or worse. if anyone has any info it would be grteatly appreciated.

1000RR is a racebike...why would you want to stunt that thing?

Isnt the tank on a 1k plastic? Try and kick that bitch in for some high chairs and tankies, and find yourself buying a new tank. Go with the 954...

F4i, 900RR, 929 and 954 ain't "race" bikes. They are sport bikes....big difference.
R6, GSXR, 600/1000RR are racebikes.

They are sport bikes...for riding on backroads.
You wont see many F4is, 929/954s on the local roadrace tracks...they have flaws when it comes to racing. They are designed to be aggressive streetbikes.

Re: 954RR vs. 1000RR

I have the 929 and my buddy has the 1000. I have rode both of them, and I would defetinitly get the 954 or 929. With the extra $$ you save you could get some exhaust etc.. Plus part for the 1000rr cost a lot and are hard to get. It's the first year of a new bike so there's going to be problems with it.

Re: 954RR vs. 1000RR

tank isnt plastic. the cover is plastic that covers the tank and airbox. the tank goes from middle of cover to under the seat.
1000RR is a track bike and no matter waht anyone says its not going ot be a good stunt bike.
