Gotta ride a 10R
I work for a Kawasaki dealership, and we just sold a '04 ZX10R to this tool. Two days later he comes back and demands that we beef up the transmission. He said that with the engine's power and his riding ability the transmission would not hold up. The guys in service knew that there was nothing wrong and also know that I have been dying to ride one. They tell him that there is someone here to test ride it harder than he does. He got all butt hurt about that comment but aggreed to let me ride it.......HOLY **** this bike was insane. I looked down in first gear about redline and it was reading 105 mph. At 140 I was still struggling to hold on and the bike was pulling HARD. It is insane how fast these new bikes are.
Funny part is that he said that his riding ability is twice what that bike could do....The next day (3 days after buying it) he comes back to order fairings because he crashed it. I laughed my *** off.

Forgot to mention that he was taking all kinds of stuff off the bike to save weight....like one of the right rear passenger peg bolts off...the left passenger peg....THE WIND SCREEN. He said that every 7 pounds he drops that he gains 1 hp. True, but when you bike has a claimed 184 hp and weight 375 dry do you honestly need 1 more hp???? He is fairly chunky....he probably has about 3-5 hp he could spare

anyone got a zx10 in the nj pa area that wants to do some role on pm me and will get together and you ll see that your bike is JUNKdown with the 10, gixxer is still king :YEAH you cant even ride one of those things hard without a damper crazy headshake JUNNK JUNK JUNK

dont hate the 10 because he took the crown over the Gixxer. Gixxer will retake it in 05

zx10, is supposed to be mainly track tho right? plus, theres still alot of kinks to work out over the next years of production. the zx10 u prolly rode, had no damper, the gixxer comes stock with one. but as with the one with the damper...
