Re: cbr 929 tip over sensor eliminator

you don't need to buy anything

just cut all three wires and take the sensor off. on the connector side splice the two (green and red)outer wires together. plug the connector back in and you're good to go.

I've done this and have had problems with the batt. dieing since. I'm not sure if looping this around slowly draws juice from the batt. or if my batt. is just junk and just happed to start acting up since I've done this
I'm going to assume its just my luck that the batt. is dieing at the same time as I cut the sensor off being nobody on here has had a similar problem
Anyone wanna throw in their ?

I have not done the sensor trick, but I can say that even with not doing it I have had a hell f a time with my battery on this damn bike. I had a 1994 ZX& with a old battery that worked all the time, no matter what! SO I go to buy a new one and am told it is $140 or something like that for the 929 batteries because they are some fancy something or other. One of my guys has not had the best of luck with his battery either.

Just thopught I would toss that in because I still have my sensor connected and still have battery issues.

Is your bike geared? Mine is, and after riding for awhile the battery dies now and then. I'm thinkin that gearing it like that and ridin the streets is over charging it.
Have you tried stealin a battery out of a wrecked bike from a bike recycler? I've bought a few for like $20 out of a yard.

Re: cbr 929 tip over sensor eliminator

3 bikes we have all geared all relays bypassed and no battery problems, sounds like you may need a recitifier

Geared mildly. 2 up and 2 down. Nothing major. I do not know what the issue is. We thought it was the regulator rectifier or whatever the hell it is call, but I replaced that and still have the problem. The craziest thing is that it is such a random issue for me. I literally can start it up after it has been sitting for a week, ride it for an hour and when I park it, then try to start it back up it is deal as a doornail. I jump it, ride it for another hour and park it and it starts right back up?!?!?!

DAMN STUNT BIKES!!! They are so fussy! lol
