Bored with the power of a 600?

Bored with the power of a 600?
I've had my 500 for 6 months now and I'm looking to sell it. I found a place that sells 04 gsxr 600's and 750's below msrp out the door. Will I get bored with the power of a 600? Will I be wishing I spent the extra $1400 on the 750? As you probably know, this is a big important decision. Thanks for any advice.

to be honest, i had a gixxer 600 and wish i bought the 750. i moved recently to a 954. but if i had originally gotten a 750 i probably would have just stuck with that and wouldnt have "wasted" money switching and selling and buying bikes. as long as you know you can keep your head on it, go for the 750 all the way.

Bored with the power?
Maybe in a straight line you'll get bored....but very few people can actually use all of the 600 class bikes. If they could they'd be making $$$$ racing.
If you look at track times and 1/4 mile times you'll see the 600 is very close to the liter class.....so yes if you're looking at top end then get a bigger bike or gear it

xactly, the liter bike is only like 2 tenths of a second faster than the 600 in the 1/4 w/ a prof. rider. Take a good rider on a 600, and your every day throttle jocky on a 1k. the good rider is gonna win.
Only place you REALLY feel the power difference, is like 100 + roll on's the litre bikes will pull.

get the 750. true you problably wont max out the 600 potential but you will want more power. 600 just seem to smooth, i like to feel like im getting pulled not just floating.

For the difference in $ get the 750. Suzuki changed things up for 04 and the 750 is designed off of the 600. Same forks, brakes, geometry. This is not the case for the other model years 600/750’s. Everything is basically the same between the two with the exception of the motors.
You could get the 600 and put another $2500 into performance parts and still not even get close to what a stock 750 makes for HP plus the handling will almost be identical. In addition the 600 makes most of its power at the top. You have to keep the thing on the boil above 12,000 RPMs while you can lug the 750 a little. $1400 difference is money well spent.

get the six, a little cheaper on insurance...and if it doesn't have enough power just gear it. That's what I did and I'll smoke just about anyone off the line regardless of the size of bike they have. :YEAH
