Does anyone know who came up with what tricks, were all of them copied from the europeans, did anybody from here came up with their own??

I know a dude from Driving to Endanger I believe came up with the Boston Strangler, are there more stories like that??? do you guys know who originally came up with what, does anyone know who did the first Highchair, Spreader etc etc.
