airport stunt spot?

yesterday me and a buddy were out lookin for stunt spots when we stumbled across a nice flat area in b/n some storage units..........the only problem is it is at our local airport. mind you this aiport is tiny, mostly private planes flown out of here. there are no "no trespassing" signs and it is not fenced in. im thinkin since it is at an airport the cops could have a field day with us if they found out (after 9/11 and what not). tell me what you guys think or if you know something legally that i dont. thanks.

I think you should be fine. It's private property therefore all the cops can do is run you off. Trespassing at the worst, but I wouldn't sweat it.

Careful......
Not only will you have to deal with the cops...but if the FAA gets involved they will throw the book at you. If I were you, I would find out who the airport owner is and hit him up for a secluded spot on the airport to ride....you might be surprised.
But if I were you, I would stay away from that airport. Trust me on this. I deal with the FAA for a living.

I have an airport like that too, so far i've never been hasseled or even seen a cop go by. though this airport is closed.

I'd say try it but have a way out if the cops come.

I know that you are still trespassing whether it says "no trespassing" or not, so you might want to ask for permission.

Re: airport stunt spot?

yep i know one just like it, the problem is that small fields have no flight control, so plane can down when they want to, and they may not see bike...

so ask
