I want to see pics of 98-01 R1 crash cages. I want to see where the rear bolt goes since the subframe is welded...

I think they hook to the rear sets. Not sure though.

The rear part of the cage bolts through the top rear motor mount

You need to make a pretty long bar to slide into the frame.

 

i would assume a cage for that year and model bike would bring that bar. do you have any pics?

 

Nope no pics......Just a bit of advice....make sure you have 2 12" extensions when you put it together...it's kind of a bitch to do but it's tough as hell this way.
I'm pretty sure that 905 is building thiers this way. But, I don't know if they make one for that year.
