Racing 905 cage on an F3 question?

I'm looking to get a cage to save me time, money, and headache. The only company i've found that makes cages for an F3 is racing905. In the pic they have it looks like the bolt on the tranny mount would be right in the way of my legs and knees. Anyone have problems hitting their legs on this bolt? I'm 6' btw.

Jon

Re: Racing 905 cage on an F3 question?

i know a lot of people with 905 cages and say at first it will hit your shins but you learn not to. The FI cage I took the braces off the sides that mount to the subframe b/c they were fukin up my ankles and kept braking the tabs off the frame and sf. So, I'm ordering me a 905 cage now. You won't regret it!

I think that you would probably get used to it. I would probably put try some kind of rounded padding to put on maybe.

I thought it would hit my shins, so I put some padding on it. Turns out I never hit my shins anyway.
