I'm looking for the appropriate codecs right now though. I just don't want to "degrade" it so much that all the details are lost.

When you guys produce your movies/clips etc, what quality do you produce them at to make best picture. What is a good setting for internet video's if I want people to post them on the net, and download them having them be a pretty decent quality still?
just curious

Re: Good job
for low bandwith output i would compress it at 15 frames per second, and limit the data rate to 10kbps. the best codac i know of is sorensen 3. if you can get quicktime to convert it that is the best way to do it.

Re: Good job
I'm stuck using ULead's VideoStudio6 (it was *free*). I can't see spending $400-$500 bucks for something I won't use too often. Besides, that money could be used for a new helmet and gloves.
My CL-11 has seen pavement one too many times.
Oh btw, I tried finishing the video this morning, but to no avail. By the time I got the formatting figured out it was time to go to work. I'll work on it over the weekend.

Yo, I just installed the codecs for wmp9 on my pc. They seem to be doing the trick for Ulead. So I'll continue working with what I got for now. But thanks for the offer. I should have the vids posted on Monday.
