driveway cost?
Eventually i want to pave my driveway, how much do you think it will cost to pave about 350 feet of it, and if it is really expensive could it be done in sections?

Re: driveway cost?
depends on what your gonna do, asphalt or concrete. do you got existing that needs to be removed? u gonna do it yourself or pay someone else.
also 350' doesnt mean anything, you need square footage, when you order materials youre gonna need to know cubic yards or tons if using asphalt, then youre gonna need to rock it before you pave it. i could go on, but if you dont know what youre doing, dont even try it. call somebody and theyll give you an estimate for free

i was figuring about 350' by about 12' and wasn't sure how thick 3" to 6"
maybe
wasn't going to do it right now, was just wondering how much for i guess asphalt.
No there isn't existing either. I figure it will take me about a year to clear and level it and pull out all of the roots and tamp the area.
i figure in a year or two i would pave it either myself and rent the equipment or have someone do it for me.
Just looking for ruff estimate so i know how much to start putting away each month.
Thanks
Keith

if i were you, id just use rock. youd want to pour it 4" unless you got some heavy duty **** drivin on it. asphalt isnt much cheaper than concrete. i got an estimate to have mine done in asphalt, was the same price as i would have paid for concrete if i did it myself
with your measurements at 4", 51.89 yards, around here concrete runs about
$80-$90 a yard delivered. you could probably get some kinda discount for that much, but concrete alone not counting forms, help from buddies/whoever, and finishers will cost you over $4g. finishers usually work for $200 a day and i HIGHLY recommend you find a professional for this cuz theyll make life much easier on you, concrete work is a lot harder than youd think.
