R6 - not as good to stunt?

i never see to that many people stunting with R6s. are they not as good to stunt with as the rest of the bikes out there? stunters love the cbrs and gsxrs- are they more balanced? can anyone compare the r6 to the other bikes out there?

dont listen to any of that noise. its all the rider and its as easy as you make it out to be. dont find yourself complaining and making excuses, just get out there and ride.

Re: R6 - not as good to stunt?

exactly, its not about the capabilities of the bike, you can stunt any bike out there, its about the capabilities of the rider and what he/she feels the most comfortable with.

R6 stunts like mad, just doesn't crash so good. Needs a cage or aftermarket race parts to be durable.

Re: R6 - not as good to stunt?

I stunt an R6 and it works just fine for me,but I would rather have a Honda because Yamaha makes sucky transmissions. This is my first bike so I really didnt know about the tranny problem when I got it.

Re: R6 - not as good to stunt?

one of my boys got a 03 r6 and he looped a stand up at 30mph it cracked the subframe were the exhaust mounts to " pipe flew off " the bars are off about 1 inch broke the head light , front faring and a million other pointless plastics ,the bike stunts well but dont take to wrecks at all , i bounce my 929 off the ground all the time and just pick it up and its ready to roll !!

Re: R6 - not as good to stunt?

newer bikes have some sensor's that when they dump, it temporarly stay off for 5 minutes cause all the fluids n stuff in the engine shift over and the bike kinda is in safe mode... ya know, my boys 02 f4i does it to and 03 r1
