Cool Bandit vs. SV

Hey all-
I'm looking to upgrade... anyone have experience with both the SV 1000 and the Bandit 1200? I like the comfort of the Bandit, but am not wanting to sacrifice my stunt learning...

Ideas?

Re: Bandit vs. SV

i''d definitely recommend the SV than the Bandit stuntwise i've never seen anyone rock a bandit but i have seen alot of people rockin Sv650s so the 1000 might be better...

Re: Bandit vs. SV

Bandit12 will out power an SV1k any day of the week. But the Bandit12 is also about 200 pounds heavier feeling than the SV. But if you are looking at rocking an SV1k, why not look at its older, discontinued brother, the dirt-cheap TL1000S ? You can pick one of those bad-boys up for under $3,000 and rock it just as good as with a new $8,000 SV.

Re: Bandit vs. SV

the sv isnt gonna have the power of the 1200 and but it is lighter and Since ur looking at these two bikes ur probable not a hardcore stunter but the bandit has a welded on subframe , the sv has a race style subframe witch is better for a stuntbike.

I had a bandit and the thing had alot of power. tons of tourqe. dirt bike bars. and tons of parts avalible, but they r very heavy and have crappy suspention. ride them both before u buy 1

Re: Bandit vs. SV

i would say either an sv650 or a tls. the bandit seems kinda sloppy. i would actually like to maybe get one for stunting, but im on the fence between that and an f2/f3.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=50034

looks like this one was stunted already and is pretty cheap too.
