905 cage and ZX6R 2001, remove my coolant resevoir??
I have a zx-6R 2001, just bought a 905 cage. and the guy told me I have to either remove my coolant resevoir, or put it somewhere else.
I understand why, but has anyone had to do this? and is it easy? I new they were working on a way to get around the coolant resevior on 01' 6R's for freestyle ingenuity... but didn't know if they ever came up with something. aparently 905 just says you need too..
little help?

I have ran both cages. Yes you have to move the overflow tank for both. I ran a freesyle cage first then switched to the racing905 cage. I moved the overflow to the front of the bike but Im running race plastics without gauges. I have also ran the bike witout the over flow but you will boil water out that way. I would buy a smaller overflow and just move it out of the way.

Instead of removing it, one of my friends cut about a 2" hole in it all the way through where the mount is. Then get a PVC coupling to fit the hole and epoxy it in there. Then you don't have to remove it or relocate it.
