When I was your age basic insurance on my Hurricane was like $375 for the year, it couldnt have changed that much in a couple of years. Plus I live in MA which is horrible for insurance rates

Re: wanna stunt

Go out and price liability only.. You can get it in your name. The price is on your bike not on your age or your driving record.. This will keep you legal and protect you if you screw up somebody or somebodys property.. I pay $120 a year for my 03 750..

Re: wanna stunt

liability is definately the way to go....even if you had full coverage you could never claim any accident. if you do you, they either jack up the premium or just drop you.......and as for a good stunt bike, just dont spend much, its gonna get destroyed.

Re: wanna stunt

i recommend an old gen cbr 600. lots of parts, run for a long time, and cheap insurance.

i'm 21 and it's only 167$ full coverage for my 94 f2. I pay 497$ a year for liability/comp on my 01 929. also, if you don't want your **** getting stolen i would get comp too....so you can get something back if your bike gets jacked, it's worth the $$.

i also recommend actually riding a bike before you try to stunt....people get hurt cause they get on a bike and started doing wheelies and **** before they even ride the bike long enough to get used to it and get the whole bike concept down. and no, dirtbikes aren't the same, i race dirtbikes, and stunt, and it's not even close.

i would at least ride a whole summer/season to get comfortable on the bike before stunting. read all you can, ask questions, ride a lot to get really comfortable on the bike and once you start you'll ride 10x better and be less likely to crash.

for now. that's y it's important to support groups like AMA & ABATE. if nobody's lookin out, they'll sneak up on us with some more laws

and (in FL) you gotta have some type of bodily injury if you wanna go without a lid. any type's good (health ins thru work, whatever) as long as it's 10G worth. i guess that's what they figure a skull's worth

i'm around 30 and full coverage for my 03 G 750 would be $1250 a year.

no sport bike in canada is cheap on insurance for your age, im 20 and im payin $2400 for a r6 for liability. never get collition cause it is cheaper in the long run to fix. a cheap bike would definatly be a 600. Also for cheaper rates try the bike course at your closetst college, that will drop rates considerably. Or just dont get caught, cause then you take it up the ***.
