You know, you're right. I just scanned the topics on the first page and there are only two that don't make sense. This one and one about having kids. It does seem that there have been a lot more than that recently, but maybe it's just the fact that I've seen the same questions 9000 times. I'll quit bitching now.

ah well anyway....the only forums i vist really anymore are alot of the team forums and dating and sex life(<---funny ****)...only good things left....this forums become a pretty big joke and one thats even worse is stunt help...if thats what its called...its like the blind leading the blind i go in there sometimes just for some quuick entertainment......its all good though better to be on the bike praticin then on sl anyway

 

one thing you have to realize regarding why some peeps don't post alot any more, is that alot of the questions and **** have already been answered.

like when i got on here, and someone asked about video editing stuff, i would make a fair effort to help, but when the question gets asked every week, it gets old

or when someone asks for help denting in there tank for the 10th time

not trying to be a dick, but it gets repetitive

 

Stuntlife use to be the **** bout 1.5 years ago.

Now you really have to weed through the BS.

Lord forbid if you are new and ask a newbie question, you get the "use the search" ****.

it sort of ironic... I haven't been on here in months for that reason. Now I log in and this is the first post I read...
I just get sick of all the bullshit that goes on. It's just too easy to run smack when you will never have to back it up...

True, I know i'm in alot of it, but I never start any of it. then other dicks say i'm picking on someone eles says tey'll kick my *** and I say BRING IT!!!!

 

Do like cycleforums did and get rid of post counts.. That way idiots that post just to get their post count up will shut the hell up.

I never posted just to post.. I dont give a **** about post counts or anything.. There just used to be interesting sh*t.. Now it's the same crap everytime

 

i hear ya nags, like the 5 different cage questions. or the fact that there is a post about what type of front tire to run, then someone posts that question again and it's only like 2 posts below the one they just posted.

shitty thing about htis, every time i suggest they should use the search forum everyone rags on me and says i'm being a dick when i'm really trying to help the boards reduce tons of these double and triple posts.

 

Ok, everyone complains about people asking the same questions over and over and over again. I agree that more people need to use the SEARCH button, but we have to remember not everyone is a StuntLife.com god. Lots of peeps dont know where to post a thread correctly let alone where to look for one. There are 4 mods, Tiller, Paison, Shaggy and myself. We all have jobs and there are a ton of posts in a day. Its true we dont see everything. With a little help im sure the site can get back to the great it used to be. 1.)If a few more people would think about their thread before posting it and get it in the correct forum. That would be one less thread we need to move. Im sure some of you know what its like to MOD. Its somewhat time consuming. When we move a thread we get redirected to the forum we move it to. Then we have to go back to the forum we were working in. IM on dial up, so thats not exactly as fast as point and click. Not making excuses, just pointing out some facts. 2.)When it comes to drama or a beef with another member.....keep it private. If you dont like someone or something send them a PM. If you still cant resolve it let a MOD know. If that still doesnt work, try putting them on ignore. I think alot of people forget that potential sponsors may be checkin out the website. If they come on and see people whining like little girls and throwin drama all over the place do you think they are going to look at you and want to sponsor you? I think not. A sponsored rider is an extension of that company and product. Look at all the crap thats in the news with basketball and baseball stars. If I remember right Koby lost a big signing when his case broke.

These are just 2 items that can help make StuntLife great again. I am doing my best to try and clean up the StuntDiscussion Forum. There is a lot to be done, kinda overwhelming. Gotta do what I gotta do though. As Binder pointed out, if you guys see something that is out of place. Rather than rippin on the person let a MOD know. Thank you for your time.

we need something other than stunt siscussion for the newbies to ask their questions. i'm sorry, they are redundant....they are good questions, but come on!?!? everyday, same old sh$T you'd think the could run a search. io don't have the time to run thru the bs to get to the good stuff.
