There has been 6 deaths this year already sense Jan. Here in my county, all of them were not wearing helmits. allways wear your lid if you take it to the streets.

 

only once in the past few years.. broke my ankle and my foot flipping my dirtbike backwards

 

[only went to the hospital once , and thats because some dick hit me with his car, rashed my arm , f*cked up my shoulder, and hip, and a concushion, cant remember three days, and that F*cker only got a ticket fro unsafe lane change, still fighting that.

 

Locked the front tire up doing a atoppie......broke 4 ribs. Only ER visit in 3 years of doing this!!!!
Luckily I was wearing my helmet/jacket

 

dude you would be surprised how many people in health care smoke. i know plenty of emts, paramedics, nurses and what have you that all burn. i actually have been clean lately but whatever. i dont smoke at work, or when im at the firehouse or anything. just when im chillin or playin my drums.

wear gear... Is it cooler to run without it, or to go to hospital with severe road rash? At any speed gear is the only thing that separates you from hospital. At least Wear helmet, any helmet.

Road rash heals so ****ing slow.. You don't want that.. But If your speed is the same as with bicycle, then helmet is almous enough...

that's funny, i work in an ER in arizona, and yes i'm also a firefigter! we see bike wrecks here all the time, every race weekend (motocross) we see at least one, there are less than 70,000 people in the verde valley and we have seen 6 street bike fatalities this year!!!!!!!! one last week some 22 year old kid passing on the shoulder and a car took a right turn in front of him (no lid). one good thing about my job and hobbies "i get free medical care" since 2001 i have had 2 ER visits 1) sprained both feet (over jumped a tabletop without boots) 2 weeks on crutches 2) broken wrist (rolled down a new hill climb) cast for 3 months.

 

my mom works triage at a local ER and has had to get me the hook up 3 times in the last year cause of bikes... well the last one kinda of..., got electrocuted in mexico n blew off my thumb had to get tentious shot n stiches... but i was in mexico to stunt bikes. that counts right?
